I recently had an air conditioner inspector come to check my unit. They quickly diagnosed a broken compressor and insisted that I needed a complete replacement. Suspicious of their diagnosis, I decided to clean the outdoor unit myself. To my surprise, the air conditioner started working perfectly fine after the cleaning.
This experience leads me to believe that their tactics are designed to push unnecessary replacements and repairs on unsuspecting customers. I urge anyone searching for air conditioner repair services to be cautious and consider a second opinion before engaging with this company.
Do not trust their assessment without verifying it yourself!

The staff who did the inspection said the compressor isn't working. But if compressor is broken, there should be no cooling effect, which was not the case. Upon cleaning the AC myself, I used it for the whole night and it worked perfectly.
The conclusion here is:
1. The staff is being dishonest and try to hard sell you into replacing the unit.
2. The inspection was done in less than 10 mins and was far from being thorough.
3. Please get a second opinion and don't agree to getting replacement immediately.
4. Don't trust their response on google review, you are not getting any genuine response from them as a customer.

We received a call from you on 4 June 2024, 8.51am and reported aircon not working and not cold as well. We managed to attended the fault at same day on 12.05pm.
After reset the aircon system, compressor still working intermittent, also same to cooling intermittent as well. Thus, we just collect $40 for this trip as a checking fee.
Therefore, we suggest replace aircon unit instead.
We also wondering clean outdoor unit yourself can solve the cooling issue. Hopefully this action can solve your problem permanently.
Also please do not reset the aircon unit by yourself because after reset the power, it's can last few day functioning only.
Due resetting is related to electricity, it's may caused electricity hazard to yourself. Please take note on this.

Recently I have my old AirCon replace by Coolman AIRCON SERVICING PTE LTD.....Was recommended to install Mitsubishi ✓✓✓✓✓ tick model...The installation work was done on the 29 May 2024 by installer Mohi & Reza both were polite & efficient in the installation took them almost the whole day to dismantle & set up the new system.Had been using this company a couple of time to service my old AirCon I would highly recommend customer out there to get their services cos prompt response reliable & efficient.Finally thumbs up for Mr.Lee Mohi & Reza for the job well done 👍👍👍

Requested for a weekend (last weekend before CNY) emergency service for cooling efficiency issue which was fulfilled on the same day. The technician arrived in about 2 hours. The fault diagnosed by the technician was that the refrigerant gas level was very low. The technician also said that the portion of exposed insulation (about 50cm long) at the system-4 compressor had to be replaced as it has disintegrated. I was initially quoted a higher price for a gas top-up & for the replacement of the exposed insulation at the compressor & managed to bargain it down to $800. Although I still felt that $800 was excessive, I agreed to go ahead with the works as I wanted my air-conditioning to function properly over the CNY holidays. However, the cooling efficiency could not be as good as before & has gradually worsened. Unfortunately for me, the warranty period has lapsed.
