I recently contacted Coolman Aircon for a preliminary check on my air conditioning unit. I appreciate their very fast response and their commitment to arranging an appointment within just one day, even on a Sunday. I was charged $60 for this check, which was clearly communicated. However, after their preliminary checks, I was quoted two options for repair: either a new set of inverter PCB, control PCB, service monitor PCB, and fan motor for $1800, or a used 2nd hand outdoor unit for $1500. Feeling unsure about the extensive and costly suggested repairs, I decided to get a second opinion from Daikin directly. Daikin's technician diagnosed the problem differently, stating that only one inverter PCB board needed replacement, and quoted me $680 for the repair.(i went with daikin and the aircon unit is working well now.) While I commend Coolman Aircon's promptness, I advise others to consider getting a second opinion if faced with a similarly high quote or a broad diagnosis, as the issue might be simpler and more affordable to fix. I would have given 0 for this company's service. After reading the reviews, I have hired them. They did worst job anyone could do. The ceiling started leaking in 2 weeks and after this I am chasing them and asking to check again but no reply at all. Please avoid this company. The reply you gave is wrong. The pipes you have changed are still leaking and I contacted you on whats app but you did not reply to any messages. Not you told how long is the warranty when we asked you. Your contractor said no need to change the ceiling boards. Do you want me to post the photos here? Reply by Coolman Aircon: Dear Kamni Prakash Job completed since 22 January 2025. Please note that during installation day, your tenant was request to replace new ceiling board instead of repaired but due to tight budget, you only allow to repaired ceiling board, then we patched up the hole and painting with white colour finishing.
